So, here we are — in the final countdown to 2020\u2019s Election Day tomorrow, November 3rd. Whew! We\u2019ve survived everything we\u2019ve been through this year to make it to this pivotal moment in time. I\u2019m grateful to be alive for this one! For generations to come, 2020, with all its ups and downs, including this election, will hear about this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll be serving as an Election Official Clerk again. I\u2019m ready for it. After a couple of days of rest, I\u2019m amped up and looking forward to welcoming the crowds. Our personal hours will begin at 6 am and continue to 8 pm or so and the voting hours are from 7 am to 7 pm. And, on a personal note \u2013 I voted on the first day of early voting. My vote was based on my conscience. I aimed for the party and its candidate who aligns closest to my belief system. I sure don\u2019t know what November 4th or the days following will look like, but I know that no matter which party is elected, God will still reign supreme and He will be in control. What assurance that is!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe your focus isn\u2019t on the election, but we are all in need of God\u2019s guidance in our lives — when to move forward, when to slow down, when to wait, when to say \u201cyes\u201d and when to say \u201cno.\u201d The most important thing in knowing God\u2019s guidance is not about knowing a formula, but knowing God; not about hearing opinions, but hearing God\u2019s voice; not about striving, but resting in God\u2019s wise and wonderful will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some wonderful affirmations of faith that we can ALL speak over our lives:
~ I don\u2019t know the next step on the path, but I know the Guide. \u201cI will instruct you and teach you concerning the path you should walk; I will direct you with my eye.\u201d Psalm 32:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~ I don\u2019t know the next chapter in the book of my journey of faith, but I know the Author and Finisher. \u201cLooking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith\u201d Hebrews 12:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~ I don\u2019t know the best decision to make, but I know the Counselor \u201cAnd He will be called Wonderful Counselor.\u201d
Isaiah 9:6<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~ I don\u2019t know how the need will be met, but I know the Provider. \u201cAnd my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.\u201d Philippians 4:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n
