In Galatians 1:15, the Apostle Paul says \u201cGod chose me before I was born\u201d. What does that say about God\u2019s handiwork in our mother\u2019s womb? I can respond to that question from firsthand experience. My mom wasn\u2019t excited when she heard that she was pregnant (12 years after my sister\u2019s birth). She could have been one of those who chose death over life. But thank God, she chose life and not only was I her \u201cbaby\u201d all 94 years of her life, but she was my ministry after my dad passed away. God set me apart to be her caregiver, and I thank Him for that privilege.<\/p>\n\n\n\nI am ever grateful that President Trump ensured a solid Supreme Court that balanced the scales of justice for our precious babies\u2019 lives. What should we do now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray for expectant mothers who may be facing horrific circumstances. Pray that God will bring peace to their anxieties and fears. Pray that the church will rise to address the needs young mothers are facing. \u201cHe heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds\u201d (Psalm 147:3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray that abortionists will come to know Christ as Savior. \u201cBut God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us\u201d (Romans 5:8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray that abortion facilities will close. \u201cHe thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success\u201d (Job 5:12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray that the hearts of our leaders and all people will be awakened to the value of human life from conception to death. \u201cI will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh\u201d (Ezekiel 36:26).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray for those considering abortions to have divine encounters that will give them hope for their future. \u201cFor I know the plans I have for you,\u201d declares the Lord, \u201cplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future\u201d (Jeremiah 29:11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014 Pray for women who have been the victims of abortionists, that they will experience spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. \u201cThe Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love\u201d (Psalm 145:8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
