<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAt our age, time is of the essence. We didn\u2019t want much ado, so we had a private ceremony and took the plunge yesterday. Our dear friends, witnessed and married us, and with God, overseeing it all, we are officially husband and wife. I am now Donna Noble aka Donna Wuerch Noble on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll be having a grand family celebration on September 8th. Our families love us and have supported our decision to have a small, intimate ceremony minus much planning, many to dos and expense. It was about us \u2013 two people in love, embracing God\u2019s Covenant of Marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t even know I needed this man or even desired to have a friend that I cared for so much. But what does God do? He one ups us — 13 years and 9 months as a widow and from here to eternity with this beautiful, adoring, God-loving, family-loving, and me-loving man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had our family\u2019s blessings on our union. We had friends, months ago, that saw us together, and prophesied words like \u201cIt is time; two are better than one; why wait any longer?\u201d We waited three months longer and then Carl \u201cpulled the trigger\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A week ago, Sunday, I made him a brisket meal with carrots, potatoes, onions, green beans and strawberry shortcake. I guess it\u2019s true that the way to a man\u2019s heart is through his stomach and perhaps that Sunday meal is what caused him to say, \u201cWill you marry me?\u201d It took one second for me to say, \u201cYES!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nIn the beginning, both of us talked about how we never wanted to remarry. Our friendship was all we needed. We had many dates and going to many places, enjoying life together. We went from not ever wanting to think about marriage to \u201csomeday when we\u2019re married\u201d!
Every month since November 8th, 2022, when we were Election Officials and met, we celebrated a monthiversary on the 8th. We look forward to many anniversaries together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The moral to our story is to never say \u201cnever\u201d. I never thought that I wanted to share the remote or wanted to share my closet space, or to share life together with someone else. But one day, after saying, \u201cI do\u201d, I can say, this was a divine and beautiful match made in heaven. Now, it is heaven to earth for us.<\/p>\n\n\n

Speaking of blogs, you might remember my “sunflowers” blog on August 1st. I spoke of how the sunflowers face the sun from morning to night. And that is our determined purpose as a married couple — to face the Son of God, His light, His love, and His life in all we say and do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
