It is my daily priority. It is my first-thing every morning when my mind is clear of yesterday’s stuff.

If you have followed me for any time, you’ll recognize that I am a “tell all”. I can’t help myself. My everyday activities give me plenty to blog about. I am completely honest about my life. I confess to my readers my mistakes, my weaknesses, my joys, and my loves.

Being a blogger is a joy for me. I expose myself as though I were living in a glass house. It’s on purpose. Being open to sharing my mistakes, do-overs, and wins is to give others hope and if others can learn from me, maybe they will be spared from having to go around the same mountains that I did. Lessons learned are my lessons imparted.

There’s a saying that goes, ‘People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.’ What a silly statement and really bad behavior. We should never throw stones regardless of what kind of house we live in. Our lives should be about picking up stones, like Jesus did when the woman caught in the act of adultery was about to be stoned by her critics.

Jesus used the stone to write in the sand – perhaps writing the names of those men who had committed even worse sins.

That’s what I want. To use “my stone” aka my blog to share faith and how to stay optimistic in a world of a whole lotta negativity. I want my passion for God to get stronger and my light to burn brighter, and a sweet way of doing that is to refresh and recharge at a daily retreat (a place of refuge) with our CEO Who has an “open door” policy.

How comforting it is that He is never too busy for us to come into His presence — a place of intimacy with Him. I assure you that close place of relationship — removes doubt, worry, concern, and fear and is replaced with “Savior” consciousness.

Living in a glass house causes me to be open to vulnerability. I’m okay with it. Sure, there are plenty of rocks aka rocky terrain in our faith journeys. But I’ve learned that the rocks are what I use in my sling to slay the giants of defeat, weakness and any other emotion that isn’t God-centered.

I want my glass house to be a beacon of light for others. You can be assured, wherever this walk takes me today – you’ll hear about it tomorrow because it always comes with a lesson to share.

I don’t really want to live in a literal glass house. But, there’s one thing for sure, no matter where we live, we’re being watched daily by God Who doesn’t require glass walls to know everything about us. The Bible tells us that “there is no creature hidden from His sight, but ALL THINGS are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13)

He knows ALL things — not just the things in the open, or the things said out loud. He knows all things — all the way down to the thoughts and intents of our hearts. When it comes to God, we all live in glass houses.

So how should we feel about the God of the universe having access to any and everything about us? How should we feel about Him having complete knowledge of every thought we’ve ever had, every emotion we’ve ever felt and every decision we’ve ever made? It’s simple — we should feel relieved.

I am passionate about blogging. It is my daily priority.
