I would have thrown in the towel during rough patches in my life. Those patches when I was shy, lacking confidence, and weak in faith and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wouldn\u2019t have followed His call on my heart to be a writer of blogs every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If He hadn\u2019t believed in me \u2026
I would have never had the courage to be transparent in telling the stories He was writing in my life without fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If He hadn\u2019t believed in me \u2026
I would have never had the confidence to step outside of my introvert comfort zone, willing to vulnerably stand on stage in front of an audience and share lessons I\u2019d learned from His Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If He hadn\u2019t believed in me \u2026
and had His support, encouragement and unconditional love, I would have never been able to stand strong in the face of great adversity and sadness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If He hadn\u2019t believed in me \u2026
I might not be the mom and wife and person I am today. Through all the defeats and difficult times, He consistently reassured me I was a good mother and a good person \u2014 especially on those days when I felt like neither.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If He hadn\u2019t believed in me \u2026
I wouldn\u2019t have taken countless leaps of faith, found new opportunities and would have missed out on the joy, purpose and peace each faith-leap brought me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who is \u201cHe\u201d? None other than my amazing Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ \u2013 THE ONE Who is the reason for this upcoming season of Christmas! I know Him well. He has been cheering me on \u2013 ALL my life. Sometimes I didn\u2019t recognize Him, but still He has been a friend, a big brother and confidant like no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To say He has had an impact on my life and shaped me into who I am today would be an understatement. He has encouraged me and lifted my spirit in ways beyond explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, how can I thank Him enough? By being that kind of encourager to others. By being a cheerleader to those in my realm of influence. That is YOU! I get to pay it forward every day in my blogs, in my communication with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Thessalonians 5:11 talks about this very thing: \u201cSo encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.\u201d
This type of encouragement isn\u2019t about complimenting someone on a new outfit or giving them kudos for a job well done. It is encouragement that spurs someone to want to know THE ONE Who is our constant Encourager \u2013 helping them to follow His tug on their heart, in whatever direction He leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus in us encourages others to know God is using them as a vessel and their obedience is impacting lives, even if they can\u2019t see it yet. Being His voice that reassures others that what they\u2019re doing matters in the kingdom of God. Encouragement that reassures: \u201cYou can do this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knowing God believes in us and is cheering us on gives us confidence to encourage others. No holding back. And, with Him backing us \u2013 we can be used by Him to impact others to the point that they will one day say: \u201cBecause she\/he believed in me\u2026\u2026I am a conqueror and overcomer today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
