Thanks be to God! My husband\u2019s home finally sold. The closing will be on May 1st! We give the credit to God for the answers to our prayers. I mentioned in an earlier blog about the $60K estimate for the plumbing issues. But God — and a dear couple in our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This couple assured us that they would pray \u2013 intentionally \u2013 every day until the house sold. That\u2019s the kind of friends we all need. Those who pray specifically and intentionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
April\u2019s showers have already brought May’s flowers, as well as the showers of blessings that our Lord has provided. The wildflowers couldn\u2019t wait to show off. Pictured here are the blue bonnets in Carl\u2019s yard. I think those blue bonnets came packed with inticement for the buyers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love those wild wildflowers. Wild as in doing their own things. They didn\u2019t need someone to plant them and wait for them to grow. I think God is intentional in growing them in obscure fields and sides of roads. Most of them are hardly noticed, but we notice them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It occurred to me that there are people all around us who feel unnoticed, too! Maybe they feel inadequate \u2013 not enough. Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not wealthy enough. Not popular enough. Not accomplishing enough. Not holy enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all want to be enough. Sometimes, if we are INTENTIONAL with our noticing and caring about others, we\u2019ll realize God has us planted right where we are supposed to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our story for God\u2019s glory. Our lives that give God the credit for the rain AND the sunshine and are INTENTIONALLY placed in situations to be used by Him to stir up abundant life in other people’s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remember Jesus\u2019 words: \u201cDo not worry about your life\u2026 look at the wildflowers. They don\u2019t fuss with their appearance. Have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The best-dressed men and women look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, don\u2019t you think He\u2019ll attend to you? Take pride in you. Do His best you? What I\u2019m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with “getting” so you can respond to God\u2019s “giving.\u201d (Luke 12:26-29, The Message Bible)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God INTENTIONALLY placed wildflowers in their places. He sent breezes and birds to scatter seeds. He sent rain and sun and grew the flowers. I think God is telling us: \u201cBe my beautiful wildflowers \u2013 care free, taking in my SON, Who tells us to BLOOM where we are planted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
