Whoo-hoo! It\u2019s my birthday. This is the day the Lord made ME, and I\u2019m so grateful He did. That may sound self-gratifying, but I\u2019m following scripture that says: \u201cYou shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and all your mind, and you shall love your neighbor as YOU LOVE YOURSELF.\u201d I can\u2019t love you if I don\u2019t love me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m thanking God that He\u2019s blessed me with a full, blessed and fruitful life, but I think I need to tell you some of my truths — MY BIG REVEAL!!!s<\/p>\n\n\n\n
~ I am NOT a \u201cwonder woman\u201d. Sometimes I am whiny!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
~ I am NOT a \u201cMary\u201d sitting at the feet of Jesus most of the time. The truth is I am often a \u201cMartha\u201d and I am too busy for my own good, AND God\u2019s good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
~ I show you my best photos and the truth is I sometimes use my \u201ctouch-up\u201d app to hide the flaws!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
~ I often stumble. I often speak up, when I should be silent and listen. I complain when I should be grateful. I want to be appreciated and told so. Sometimes I carry a big chip on my shoulder because someone hurt my feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
~ I know that I\u2019m on assignment to speak encouragement and truth in my daily blogs. But more times than not \u2013 I\u2019m speaking those messages to ME, because I need to hear and heed those words, myself!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All THAT — but I don\u2019t let myself stay in negative thoughts and feelings for very long, because my one determined purpose is to please my Heavenly Father so, I get up, clean up and tell my feelings to shut up. I have a go at it again because this I know with absolute certainty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know I am God’s daughter.
I love my Father, His Son (my Lord Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit (my comforter).
I love my husband, my family and YOU!
I keep going because God is my strength.
I know I was made to speak, write and declare good news!
I am determined to finish my race strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My birthday gift to you is the same gift to me! To remind us that we are winners. We are not alone. We are not going to give up. We are going to keep marching on — not because we are superhuman \u2013 but because all the power of heaven lives and rests inside of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re still here\u2026.so we\u2019re not done! Let\u2019s keep running to our Finish Line where we\u2019ll hear our Divine Cheerleader say to us, \u201cWell done, good and faithful servants!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
