The results of the quiz would tell whether I am an Idealist, Realist or Surrealist, based on the color selections I made throughout the quiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not validating the merits of this quiz, but I think it \u201cnailed it\u201d for who I feel I am and always desire to be. I\u2019m sure I didn\u2019t start out with those qualities, but I obviously developed them and have BECOME them. Here are my results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBased on your perception of colors, you are the ideal idealist. The world in your eyes is a magical place filled with goodness, hope and beauty. Your optimistic attitude allows you to see the best in people and to have a lighter perspective on life. You truly believe that all people are born with goodness inside of their hearts and that through compassion, communicating and understanding, the world can be a better place. You don\u2019t see the world from a black and white perspective. You empathize with people and appreciate the beauty in our differences. You are always noticing the symbolic meanings hidden in everyday things and noticing light around you even when others see darkness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I own up to those qualities. In fact, I&#8217;ve been accused of wearing rose-colored glasses. Webster&#8217;s definition: &#8220;An optimistic perception of something; seeing something in a positive way, often thinking of it as better than it actually is.&#8221;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each day we can choose &#8220;glasses&#8221; that see every reason to be afraid, anxious, or sad. But why wear glasses that see only gloom and doom? Why be in a bad mood &#8212; especially when the blessings in our lives FAR outweigh the negatives?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we turn the negative thoughts into thanksgiving for the blessings in our lives &#8212; those blessings will just start to multiply. It&#8217;s just God&#8217;s good way! &#8220;For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous&#8230;&#8230;&#8221; Psalm 5:12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think I&#8217;ll slip on my rose-colored glasses and start counting my blessings RIGHT NOW!!
