As I type this blog, I am thanking God for the past, the present and the future. But not in one fell swoop. This blog is about embracing every moment of God\u2019s goodness and faithfulness. Yummy food and tender and sweet times, I recall this scripture: \u201cOh taste and see that the Lord is good!\u201d (Psalm 34:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was thrilled to have my children, grandchildren and cousins together at Epiphany Ranch in East Texas. We weren\u2019t in a panic or rush mode. We celebrated each other and what is going on in our lives. We shared stories of God\u2019s faithfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grands played Poetry for Neanderthals (hilarious) and Bryson performed his annual polar jump into the lake. As you can see, we got our annual family pics and we all gathered into the soon-to-be completed barndominium to pray and write scripture verses on the walls and floors.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We casted vision for what God is going to do in healing, restoring, and propelling His kids into lives of abundance, freedom, and purpose. Oh, yes! We tasted and saw the goodness of God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It brought much joy to my heart for us to sit around the table and, individually shared what we are thankful for — so many blessings in our lives. I love seeing my children relating, respecting, appreciating, and encouraging each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They celebrate each other\u2019s wins! That makes me a happy mama indeed. These moments are a few of my favorite things.<\/p>\n\n\n

My encouragement for all my friends and family is to slow down, avoid incessant scrolling (talking to myself on that one), and become present with friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We live in tremendous motion and speed. We get up early and go to bed late and have no time to savor “the moments”. When we are clear on what matters most in our lives, life becomes meaningful and joyful. What matters most is God’s sweet moments — those heaven to earth moments.<\/p>\n\n\n

A lot of folks talk about wanting an \u201cexperience\u201d as if it’s going to come. Yet what could be a more beautiful experience than THIS moment, right now? Our Austin group are headed home today. We had sweet and tender times of making memories. Making memories is huge in my \u201cfavorite things\u201d list.<\/p>\n\n\n

This moment right now is beautiful and marvelous, and I\u2019m in full appreciation of it. Who knows what the next moment will bring? Who cares? I\u2019m here now having a glorious experience in this precious moment. Indeed, these moments ARE among MY FAVORITE THINGS.
