Happy New Year! I like the sound of 2025 \u2013 seems like a number that we\u2019ll claim with enthusiasm, hope and great expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s talk about those great expectations we have for this new year and the plateful of those black-eyed peas! I\u2019m not saying those little legumes provide some kind of superpowers, but something about them always reminds me that I\u2019m stepping into the year with way more than good luck \u2013 I\u2019m stepping in with God’s promises of holding our tomorrows and praising Him for His goodness to us! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My husband, Carl, will be taking cans of black-eyed peas to some of his clients \u2013 not as a good luck charm, but giving them a little history and the health benefits about them, along with best wishes for a blessed new year.<\/p>\n\n\n

2025 is knocking, and we are opening the door to all that God has in store for us! We are bold. Fearless. Tenacious. Not because of who we are, but WHOSE we are! And if our head, our heart and soul are built on God’s promises, it\u2019s time to let our actions prove it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God didn\u2019t create us to barely make it through. He formed us with grit, with a backbone of faith that says, \u201cCome what may, my trust is in the Maker of heaven and earth.\u201d If He spoke the stars into existence and stitched every detail of this universe together, I believe He\u2019s got 2025 under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know what this year will hold \u2013 and that\u2019s probably a good thing. But I do know this: we can walk boldly into every single day, not because we have all the answers, but because we know WHO does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what fuels our optimism. It\u2019s not blind hope; it\u2019s anchored hope. The kind that doesn\u2019t quit, even when the calendar pages feel heavier than they should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we start this first day of the new year with faith and hope, let\u2019s live with the same energy and robust faith God gives those of us who put their trust in Him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s eat the peas, laugh with family, and declare that this year will be different \u2013 not because circumstances shift, but because our faith leads the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025, we\u2019re coming for you \u2013 bold, fearless, and full of trust.
