Then came Larry. At first glance, he checked off 95 out of 100. But as time went on, love deepened, and before she knew it, every last item on that list was fulfilled. I often find myself in rooms full of people who long for more — more friendships, a better job, a healthier body, a deeper sense of purpose, or even the right person to share life with. Desires aren\u2019t the problem. Direction is. And thankfully, the Bible gives us one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWrite the vision and make it plain, so that HE who reads it may run with it.\u201d (Habakkuk 2:2) And, who is HE? Our angels!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s not just pretty poetry — it\u2019s a strategy. When we write down our vision, making it clear and precise, we aren\u2019t just organizing our thoughts — we\u2019re stepping into alignment. Angels are on assignment (Hebrews 1:14) to bring about God\u2019s best, but we must be positioned correctly to receive it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, how do we get into position?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 3:5-6 lays it out in three steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\ufe0f\u20e3 Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
2\ufe0f\u20e3 Don\u2019t lean on your own understanding.
3\ufe0f\u20e3 Acknowledge Him in all your ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we do this, He directs our paths — not just our wish list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing a vision without surrendering to God\u2019s wisdom is like handing Him a to-do list and expecting same-day delivery. But when we write our vision with God\u2019s counsel, timing, and purpose in mind, we\u2019re not just hoping — we\u2019re partnering with the One who holds the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
