Ever read a book and wish you could skip a few chapters? Maybe the tension is too high, the plot twist too painful, or the ending feels uncertain. But here\u2019s the thing — if we skip the hard parts, we miss the redemption, the restoration, the beauty that comes when the Author ties it all together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s the good news — God is still writing our stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Philippians 1:6 reminds us that “God, who began a good work in you, will continue it until the day Christ returns.” That means He\u2019s not done with us yet. No matter how messy, complicated, or confusing our life feels right now, the pen is still in His hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re facing as you read this. Maybe life feels like a beautifully wrapped gift, or maybe it\u2019s one of those \u201creturn to sender\u201d times. This I know: God is faithful. Always. Even when we don\u2019t understand the plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here are a few things I\u2019m learning in this chapter of life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God holds us — and all our missing pieces.
(Isaiah 41:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life may feel out of control, but it never is. God\u2019s got us.
(Colossians 1:17)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even in the mess, God is at work. He\u2019s the Master at turning \u201cmesses up\u201d into miracles.
(Psalm 51:17)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When God seems silent, He\u2019s still present. Our pain is not wasted. (Matthew 28:20)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ll admit, I\u2019ve tried editing a few chapters of my life — handing God my red pen with a \u201clet\u2019s cut that part, okay?\u201d But God, in His wisdom, sees the whole story. And He promises that the ending is heavenly orchestrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So let’s take heart. We are not forgotten. We are not overlooked. Our past does not define us. You and I are children of the King, and our story is being written by the One who never makes mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 8:38-39 reminds us that “Nothing can separate us from God\u2019s love.” Not our failures, not our fears, not even our worst chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So today, whatever part of the story you\u2019re in, hold on to the Author. Because He\u2019s holding on to you. And the best part?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
