We decided to venture out into the great \u201cknown\u201d \u2013 to the walking path around our community. A friend had posted: \u201cWe have bluebonnets right here at home!\u201d And lo and behold \u2013 she was right.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"462\" src=\"https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Everleigh-Blue-Bonnets-e1742499587572.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21834\" style=\"width:455px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Now, was it a full-on Texas bluebonnet explosion? No. But was it enough to make us shout \u201cHallelujah, Spring is here!\u201d? Absolutely! And if that wasn\u2019t enough, the redbud trees were showing off too, budding with new life!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Red-Bud-Trees-at-Everleigh.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21835\" style=\"width:535px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Red-Bud-Trees-at-Everleigh.jpg 960w, https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Red-Bud-Trees-at-Everleigh-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Red-Bud-Trees-at-Everleigh-768x502.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spring is a season that knows how to make an entrance &#8212; bold, beautiful, and bursting with energy. And I realized, it\u2019s time to take a cue from creation and get a little spring in my steps!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That phrase &#8212; spring in our step &#8212; means we\u2019re walking lighter, feeling lifted, like a weight has been taken off our shoulders. Ever been bogged down by worries, only to get good news that makes you feel like you could skip down the street? That\u2019s springing! And if there\u2019s ever a time to embrace that feeling, it\u2019s now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spring is God\u2019s way of reminding us that new life isn\u2019t just for the flowers &#8212; it\u2019s for us too. The world comes alive in color, the air feels fresher, and Easter arrives to declare the greatest renewal of all: Christ lives! If that doesn\u2019t put a bounce in our steps, what will?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.&#8221; \u2013 Isaiah 43:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And here\u2019s the best part &#8212; when we walk with a spring in our step, it\u2019s contagious. Our joy, our gratitude, our excitement for life &#8212; it spills over onto others. Like the birds that wake up singing, we too should have a song of praise on our lips and a heart full of thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, let\u2019s walk with complete assurance that we know and are known by the Creator of Springtime Himself. And really mean it! Let\u2019s be people who exude God\u2019s love, joy, and renewal with every step. Because He made us with built-in springs &#8212; not just for walking, but for rebounding in faith, hope, and love every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let&#8217;s take that first step, add that bounce, and let\u2019s spring forward in faith and joy for wonderful Spring! \ud83c\udf38<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Spring!
