Did you know that you \u2013 yes, YOU \u2013 and your circumstances are no surprise to God? It took me a while to wrap my head around that one, but once it clicked, it changed everything. Now, it\u2019s how I roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life has a way of throwing curveballs, doesn\u2019t it? A pain in a place you never had a pain before, a flat tire on the way to an important appointment, or the faucet springing a leak right after you just paid the last plumber\u2019s bill. Oh, and let’s not forget those unexpected bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These \u201csurprises\u201d can sure throw a wrench in our plans, but guess what? They don\u2019t catch God off guard. Not for one second. What we call a jolt to our plans is just another opportunity for God to show off His sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s the best part \u2013 God\u2019s already on it. Whatever comes our way, He saw it coming long before it showed up on our radar. And not only that \u2013 He\u2019s got a plan to turn it for our good. What a relief! It\u2019s like knowing the end of a story before the plot twist even happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve stopped wasting time trying to \u201cone-up\u201d God because I know it\u2019s impossible. While I might feel caught off guard, He never is. And isn\u2019t that just the kind of peace we need?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe know that God causes EVERYTHING to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.\u201d (Romans 8:28)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And here\u2019s another nugget to tuck in your heart: \u201cThe Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.\u201d (Psalm 37:23)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, whatever surprise comes your way today, just remember \u2013 God\u2019s got it covered. Lean into that truth and let go of the stress. After all, He knows exactly how it\u2019s going to turn out \u2013 and it\u2019s going to be good!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
