Sincerely — I know my age and I know I am not qualified to ride the 12 and under rides. But, I am still riding the joy-of-life bandwagon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s be honest — some folks take life way too seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They wake up with a to-do list longer than the driveway, wear stress like a badge of honor, and somewhere along the way, they forgot how to really laugh out loud! They’ve traded wonder for worry and play for productivity. They\u2019re stuck in a loop of making a living and forgot about living.
But not me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m fully committed to riding the joy-of-life bandwagon — and I\u2019m not getting off anytime soon. I belly laugh with my husband, my children, my grandkids and my friends — at their jokes, their silly shenanigans, and their dance moves and hilarious moods!
And I\u2019m not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We love hanging out with our friends in our community. We still love to play! We play pickleball. We walk, run, giggle, and maybe creak a little, but we move with purpose. We haven\u2019t lost our wonder — we\u2019ve reclaimed it. Because play isn\u2019t childish. It\u2019s kingdom-minded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus didn\u2019t say, \u201cAct your age!\u201d
He said, \u201cLet the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.\u201d (Matthew 19:14)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Play isn\u2019t just fun. It\u2019s faithful.
It\u2019s choosing joy, even in the face of grief.
It\u2019s smiling through sore muscles and celebrating the sacred gift of life.
It\u2019s refusing to let the weight of the world crush the childlike delight that lives in us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sure, we\u2019ve known loss. We\u2019ve walked through storms. But we haven\u2019t let it steal our spark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So here\u2019s your invitation:
Take a break from the grind.
Put down the phone.
Go splash in the puddle.
Dance in your living room.
Laugh until your cheeks hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s live like children again — with open hearts, loud joy, and eyes full of wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life is short. Let\u2019s live it fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
