What an amazing time we had at Epiphany Ranch \u2014 where peace, purpose, and porch-sitting reign \u2014 and where, apparently, a long-lost talent of mine was resurrected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wallpapering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, you heard that right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mama here dusted off the ol\u2019 wallpaper-hanging gift (which I\u2019d hung up years ago). But wouldn\u2019t you know \u2014 my daughter Staci, who watched me line up seams and smooth down bubbles — way back when she was a little girl — never forgot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Epiphany Ranch we \u2014 mother (me), daughter and granddaughter — and Carl, side-by-side, wallpapering bathrooms in their beautiful almost-finished lodge aka barndominium. Four of them — to be exact. Only one left that will be painted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, then, with a few tight spots here and there (I’m talking about my body — sigh!), my sweet girl was the one to navigate the ladders — sometimes with a foot on one ladder and her other foot on another ladder.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And isn\u2019t that just like our God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He doesn\u2019t toss out our gifts when we think we\u2019ve aged out. He doesn\u2019t retire our abilities when we assume we\u2019re too slow or too rusty. No \u2014 He revives them, repurposes them, and pours fresh grace on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.\u201d (Romans 11:29)
He keeps on blessing and blessing.
He keeps on pouring it on.
And just when we think we\u2019ve reached our limit, He fills our cup again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So today, if you feel sidelined, shelfed, or unsure you\u2019ve still got it \u2014 remember this:
Your gifts haven\u2019t expired.
Your joy hasn\u2019t aged out.
And with God? It just keeps getting better and better.
