{"id":22480,"date":"2025-07-10T03:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T08:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/?p=22480"},"modified":"2025-07-10T05:41:51","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T10:41:51","slug":"where-was-god-in-the-flood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mypeacezone.com\/?p=22480","title":{"rendered":"Where was God in the Flood?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I may sound like a broken record &#8212; but I just can&#8217;t stop praying, believing, and asking &#8220;God, where were You?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the question we\u2019re all asking right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where was God when the floodwaters rose and swept away so many hopes, dreams, and beautiful young lives?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Could God have stopped it? Of course.<br>Could He have preserved every single life? Absolutely.<br>Did He have the power to part waters, wake campers, send angels? Without a doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet\u2026 He didn\u2019t. Not in the way we prayed. Not in the way we hoped. So we ask, \u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truth is, we\u2019re not the first to ask.<br>Paul said it best in 1 Corinthians 13:12: \u201cNow we see through a glass, darkly\u2026\u201d<br>In other words \u2014 we see shadows. He sees the whole picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wonder why God didn\u2019t stop this storm. But don\u2019t forget \u2014 He didn\u2019t stop the nails either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus could have called down twelve legions of angels to prevent His crucifixion\u2026 but He didn\u2019t.<br>Not because He couldn\u2019t \u2014 but because there was a deeper purpose unfolding. One we wouldn\u2019t understand until the empty tomb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This flood didn\u2019t catch God off guard. He saw it coming. He was already on the scene \u2014 in the chaos, in the courage, in the quiet miracles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was there \u2014 and is there \u2014 because that\u2019s who He is: Emmanuel\u2026 God with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t have the answers. But we do have a Savior who still speaks, a Gospel that still saves, and a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romans 8:28 doesn\u2019t say all things are good \u2014 but it says God works all things FOR GOOD. Even floods. Even grief. Even the unbearable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So where was God in the flood?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was in every rescue.<br>He was in every tear.<br>He is in every broken heart \u2014 holding, healing, redeeming.<br>He was grieving with us, carrying us, redeeming what we cannot yet understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And He\u2019s not done yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I may sound like a broken record &#8212; but I just can&#8217;t stop praying, believing, and asking &#8220;God, where were You?&#8221; It\u2019s the question we\u2019re all asking right now.
