It seems like we\u2019re living in a world where disagreeing with someone isn\u2019t enough. We\u2019ve got to drag their character through the mud, too. Opinions used to be table talk; now they\u2019re battlegrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here\u2019s what I\u2019m learning. I don\u2019t want to be right more than I want to be kind. I want to grow, and I want to glow — with love, humility, and a teachable spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Solomon, the wisest guy around, said it best: \u201cLet the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.\u201d (Proverbs 1:5) That\u2019s a gentle nudge from heaven to keep learning — even when we think we\u2019ve arrived. Especially then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul, a seasoned Jesus follower, wasn\u2019t too proud to admit that he still had more to learn. \u201cI want to know Christ,\u201d he said in Philippians 3:10. Not past tense — present tense. After all his years of preaching, planting churches, and dodging shipwrecks, he was still hungry for more of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s never stop learning. Let\u2019s lean in, listen up, and let the Holy Spirit do His refining work in us. John 16:13 reminds us that the Spirit of Truth is our guide. And if He\u2019s leading, we\u2019re in good hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So today, if you\u2019ve messed up — join the club. But let\u2019s mess up forward. Let\u2019s keep soft hearts, open minds, and listening ears. Let\u2019s be okay with being corrected, stretched, challenged — and changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal isn\u2019t being right. The goal is being righteous. And that starts with humility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So here\u2019s our rally cry! We\u2019re not done yet. God\u2019s still working. And we\u2019re still growing. Even if it means admitting — \u201cWell, I may have been a little off on that one.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s not weakness. That\u2019s wisdom. A humble heart is a holy heart. Keep learning, keep listening, keep growing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
