God\u2019s presence isn\u2019t earned by checking off spiritual to-do lists. It\u2019s not about logging enough prayer minutes or memorizing enough Scripture. It\u2019s not a reward for spiritual gold stars. It’s not about earning at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s about turning our eyes upon Jesus — looking full in His glorious face. And the things of earth will go strangely dim \u2013 in the light of His glory and grace. I love that old song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we say, \u201cI need to get into God\u2019s presence,\u201d we\u2019re forgetting a beautiful truth. We\u2019re already in it. If Christ lives in us — and He does — then His presence isn\u2019t distant or hard to reach. It\u2019s here — right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here\u2019s the catch: we don\u2019t always live like we\u2019re in His presence. Why? Because we\u2019re not always turned toward Him. We\u2019re too busy checking emails, chasing to-do lists, or binge-watching the next \u201cjust one more episode.\u201d (Guilty!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Living in God\u2019s presence is like adjusting our spiritual posture. It\u2019s saying, \u201cLord, I see You. I hear You. I\u2019m turning my heart toward You.\u201d It\u2019s whispering His name when the kids are arguing, the traffic\u2019s ridiculous, or our soul just feels blah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s not about climbing a holy mountain. It\u2019s about tilting our heads in His direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Message Bible says in Ephesians 3:20:
\u201cGod can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I\u2019ve learned is the more we turn toward Him, the more we recognize what He\u2019s already doing. His nudges. His peace. His quiet invitation to trust. That little aha — we know it had to be Him Who did that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, let\u2019s get practical. What if we paused today — just a few times — and said:
\u201cJesus, what are You doing right now?\u201d
\u201cHoly Spirit, help me see what You see.\u201d
\u201cFather, I\u2019m turning toward You.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s it. That\u2019s living in His presence.
It\u2019s not about being perfect. It\u2019s about being present. With Him. Because He\u2019s already here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We don\u2019t earn our way into God\u2019s presence. We turn our hearts toward Him. He\u2019s already there, waiting. Go ahead. Experience it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
