I\u2019ve learned that being a grace receiver is the easy part. I mean, who doesn\u2019t love being on the receiving end of God\u2019s mercy? He forgives, restores, and blesses us \u2014 often when we least deserve it. But being a grace giver? That\u2019s where the rubber meets the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s easy to show grace when people are kind, appreciative, and easy to love. But what about the people who cut you off in traffic, interrupt you mid-sentence, or forget to say \u201cthank you\u201d? Those are the moments when grace doesn\u2019t just flow \u2014 it\u2019s squeezed out, like the last bit of toothpaste from the tube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I once prayed, \u201cLord, I\u2019m amazed by Your grace in my life. Help me to not just receive it but to give it freely.\u201d And wouldn\u2019t you know it \u2014 that same day, I had opportunity after opportunity to practice what I prayed. The cashier was rude, the email was curt, and my patience wore thin before noon. But then came the whisper: \u201cFreely you have received, freely give.\u201d (Matthew 10:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grace isn\u2019t about ignoring wrongs; it\u2019s about responding right. It\u2019s offering what we\u2019ve already been given \u2014 unearned, undeserved kindness. Grace is what changes the temperature of a room, melts resentment, and restores peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because here\u2019s the truth \u2014 grace givers live lighter. They forgive faster, smile more, and sleep better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, may we be so amazed by Your grace that it spills over into every encounter we have today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.\u201d \u2014 2 Corinthians 9:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n
