It\u2019s decision time, friends \u2014 early voting has officially begun here in Austin! And once again, Carl and I are stoked (yes, stoked!) to be serving as election officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No, this isn\u2019t a major presidential primary \u2014 but don\u2019t let that fool you. State and local propositions are where a lot of real-life decisions are made, and your vote truly matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Plus, serving in elections holds a special place in our hearts \u2014 it\u2019s our sweet spot! This is actually where Carl and I first met three years ago. I tell people all the time, \u201cSome couples meet at church, some at coffee shops\u2026 we met as election officials.” Now, that\u2019s what I call casting ballots and catching blessings! \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here\u2019s the thing \u2014 if we don\u2019t vote, we shouldn\u2019t complain about the process. Sitting on the sidelines doesn\u2019t change the scoreboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is our civic duty, our privilege, and our opportunity to make our voices heard. And for those who say, \u201cMy one little vote won\u2019t make a difference,\u201d I say \u2014 oh yes it will!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God used one voice to part a sea, one stone to slay a giant, and one widow\u2019s mite to move heaven\u2019s heart. Your one vote? It matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, I\u2019m not offering political commentary or picking sides here \u2014 but I am offering encouragement. Vote for what aligns closest to God\u2019s Word. People are flawed (always have been, always will be), but God\u2019s truth still stands tall. Scripture reminds us that He used imperfect leaders \u2014 kings, prophets, and fishermen \u2014 to shape history. And He still does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So muster up your courage, take a deep breath, grab your ID, and get to the polls! Let\u2019s finish 2025 strong \u2014 as people of faith, purpose, and conviction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because when we show up, we don\u2019t just cast ballots \u2014 we cast light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
