Today\u2019s blog inspiration comes straight from our faithful mentor, the Apostle Paul. His words in Galatians 6:9 still roar across the centuries: \u201cLet us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There it is \u2014 a rally cry for every weary do-gooder who\u2019s been plowing, planting, and wondering if the field will ever produce anything but blisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s been a tough row to hoe these last few years, hasn\u2019t it? Maybe you\u2019ve gritted your teeth just to stay kind. Maybe you\u2019ve shut your ears to the angry noise and kept your heart from hardening. It\u2019s tempting to hang a \u201cDo Not Disturb\u201d sign on your spirit \u2014 to lock the doors, bolt the windows, and ration out your faith like it\u2019s the last jar of grandma\u2019s preserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then comes Paul\u2019s voice again \u2014 strong, scarred, and steady:
\u201cDon\u2019t give up. Keep doing good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And suddenly I remember \u2014 he wasn\u2019t writing from a cozy farmhouse with sweet tea in hand. He was writing from prisons and storms, beaten, mocked, and still saying, \u201cKeep planting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Friend, maybe your kindness hasn\u2019t been noticed. Maybe your prayers seem unanswered. Maybe you\u2019ve loved deeply and gotten bruised in return. Jesus knows that pain \u2014 He stretched out His arms and kept loving anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 12:2 reminds us: \u201cLet us fix our eyes on Jesus\u2026 who for the joy set before Him endured the cross.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we fix our eyes on Him instead of the mess around us, hope comes rushing back like rain on dry ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So let\u2019s grab our spiritual work gloves and keep sowing good seeds \u2014 love, mercy, forgiveness, generosity. Because harvest time is coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And when it does? I\u2019m climbing up on the biggest John Deere I can find \u2014 joy in the tank, grace in the gearshift, and a smile that says, \u201cI\u2019m not quitting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
