Yesterday, January 6th marked Epiphany — the celebration of the manifestation of Christ to the world. It gently closed the Twelve <\/a>Days of Christmas and opened our eyes a bit wider to what God was doing all along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tradition tells us that the Wise Men arrived later than our nativity scenes suggest. Jesus may have been a toddler by then, living with Mary and Joseph in Egypt. The timing isn\u2019t exact — and that\u2019s okay. What matters is this — the Light kept leading, and the Wise Men kept following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They noticed the star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They paid attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They moved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That alone feels like an Epiphany for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those travelers didn\u2019t rush in empty-handed. They brought gifts — gold, frankincense, and myrrh — treasures fit for a King. But more than that, they brought themselves. Their time. Their worship. Their hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Epiphany reminds us that Christmas didn’t end when the decorations came down. The story keeps unfolding. The Light still shines. And we, too, are invited to follow — long after the carols faded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new year, maybe Epiphany asks us a simple question — “What will we bring to Jesus?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not gold or incense — but, perhaps — gratitude. Obedience. Kindness. Faithfulness in small things. A willingness to notice where God is leading and courage to move in that direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wise Men didn\u2019t know the whole map — just the next step. And that was enough. And, isn’t that us? We don’t know the future — but we can take the next step in our walk with Christ — each and every day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 2:2 tells us, \u201cWe have seen His star — and have come to worship Him.\u201d That same invitation stands for us today. Come, see and worship! May we bring our hearts’ treasures — every ordinary day of this new year and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Epiphany isn\u2019t just about a star long ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about a Savior who still reveals Himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
