Over 110 women — from the ages of 23 to 91, gathered at the gorgeous Vintage Villas in Lakeway, Texas. The view was stunning, the food was extraordinary, and the cookies, cakes and treats were clearly made by someone who understands spiritual giftings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made friendship bracelets, snapped photos with instant cameras, then decorated frames to hold them — because nothing says \u201cwe\u2019re bonding\u201d like glitter and glue at a grown-woman table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And all around the room, conversations bloomed. Women talking. Listening. Encouraging. Laughing. Sharing real life.<\/p>\n\n\n

It reminded me that God created us for friendship. That\u2019s why Adam had Eve. Not because he needed someone to hand him a sandwich, but because we were never designed to do life alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m blessed that my best friend is my husband. I can talk to Carl about anything and everything. That kind of friendship is rare and beautiful. But God also gives us sister-friends — women who strengthen us, steady us, and show up when life gets wobbly.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proverbs 18:24 says, \u201cA friend sticks closer than a brother.\u201d And Jesus modeled true friendship. He called His disciples friends and loved them all the way to the cross. \u201cGreater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.\u201d (John 15:13)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our speaker reminded us that biblical friendship begins with our friendship with God. Then it overflows into our relationships with others — especially when we \u201cput on\u201d the clothing of love:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth is simple — If we want a friend\u2026 we must show friendship.
And that\u2019s exactly what God made us to do. \ud83d\udc97<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This weekend reminded me that we were never meant to do life alone. God knits hearts together with love, laughter, grace, and forgiveness — and oh, what a gift it is. \ud83d\udc95<\/p>\n\n\n\n
