There\u2019s forty more days of Easter. Don\u2019t pack up the lilies.
Don\u2019t tuck away the joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Easter wasn\u2019t a one-day celebration.
It was just the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For forty more days, Jesus walked the earth \u2014 alive, present, and wonderfully unexpected. Acts 1:3 says: \u201cAfter His suffering, He presented Himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He showed up where doors were locked.
He stepped onto dusty roads beside weary travelers.
He called Mary by name in a garden of tears.
He stood before doubting Thomas and said, \u201cGo ahead \u2014 touch the scars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can you imagine? The One they saw die \u2014 now standing before them \u2014 breathing, speaking, alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Corinthians 15:6 tells us He appeared to many \u2014 even more than 500 at one time \u2014 a flood of proof!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oh, what those forty days must have felt like.
A living classroom.
A holy \u201cseminar\u201d on resurrection life.
And the Teacher?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The One who said, \u201cI am the resurrection and the life.\u201d (John 11:25)
He wasn\u2019t just teaching truth \u2014 He was THE TRUTH!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then came the moment \u2014 40 days later when He ascended.
Not to leave them \u2014 but to be with all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because now, through the Holy Spirit, He doesn\u2019t just walk beside us \u2014 He lives within us. And that changes everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because He lives\u2026fear doesn\u2019t get the final word.
Not the news headlines.
Not the wars.
Not the uncertainty of tomorrow.
We don\u2019t have to join the choir of worry and dread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We belong to a different song. A resurrection song.
The kind that sees stars in the night sky and whispers, \u201cHe made that.\u201d
The kind that feels the wind, hears the birds, holds a newborn \u2014 and knows \u2014 we are still winning because Jesus is still living!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So no, Easter isn\u2019t over. It\u2019s unfolding. In you. In me.
In every breath filled with hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For 40 days, Jesus showed up \u2014 alive and present. And today?
He still does. In you, in me, in every breath of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
