Who knew something so small could open such big doors?

Before this trip, Carl and I decided to create simple little cards\u2014with our photo, our names, and four words: \u201cGod loves you!\u201d<\/strong> Along with our contact information, just in case someone might want to stay in touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had no idea what God would do with that small step of obedience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here aboard the MS Nieuw Statendam and during our time in London, those cards have become more than introductions\u2014they\u2019ve become invitations. Invitations to connect\u2026 to listen\u2026 to encourage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today at lunch, we sat with two couples we had never met. Within minutes, stories began to unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One dear woman shared that her luggage never made it to London. Days without her belongings\u2014and yet her attitude? Peaceful. Grateful. \u201cI\u2019ll be fine,\u201d she said with a smile. Oh my. That preached all by itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another woman, while playing Mahjong with me, shared that her home had burned down. Since January, they\u2019ve been living on cruise ships, waiting for insurance to come through. And yet\u2014they were making the most of it. Choosing joy in the middle of loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I couldn\u2019t help but think of Galatians 6:2:
\u201cCarry each other\u2019s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Hebrews 13:2 gently whispered,
\u201cDo not forget to show hospitality to strangers\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes hospitality isn\u2019t a meal in your home\u2026 it\u2019s a conversation at a table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A smile. A listening ear. A simple card that says, God loves you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And oh, how He does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We may never fully know what someone is carrying\u2014but we can always offer what we\u2019re carrying: hope, kindness, and the love of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because in the end, it\u2019s not about the places we visit\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about the people God places in front of us.
We never know what door God will open when you reach out. \ud83e\udd0d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
