Peace, Wonderful Peace

Peace, Wonderful Peace

I personally need this blog today. I’m sitting front and center! Maybe you can use it too! We all long for deep and real peace, but where is it when it seems anything, but peace is all around us?

I’ve heard it said: “There will never be peace until we’re all laid to rest.” Those of us who know better, never talk that kind of talk. But we do know what they mean because there are real times when life is hard and topsy-turvy. Sometimes it is easy to despair over finding peace when trouble seems to lurk around every corner.

I was getting ready to write about my “issues” but then I sensed God stopping in my tracks. What in the world? I know there are others who have far greater circumstances going on in their lives, so I won’t even plunge into the waters of complaining. But I will talk about how we find peace in the middle of the storms around us.

Our emotions can get the best of us. But we have insider information on where to find peace! Our loving and faithful Father assures us that His will is our peace. God is love. God is peace. Know God. Know peace. No God. No peace. Peace is God’s will.

God’s kind of peace doesn’t come and go. God’s divine peace, when we realize it, is our governor in all things. We can have that kind of peace. Jesus told His disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) That sounds like a command to me!

My blog website is: MyPeaceZone.com and that is where I purpose to live every day – in the peace zone. This kind of peace brings peace of mind, heart, body, and soul. It is in the knowing that no matter what happens, we are in the care of the Almighty. I want you to live in that peace zone, too. I am driven with a “peace mission” passion. It is my desire for others to know this peace.

The peace Christ gives is fully satisfying. It’s peace of mind, heart, body, and soul. It’s contentment knowing that no matter what happens, we are in the care of the Almighty. The outcome will be His plan for our good.

In times of doubt and fear, let peace rule. Resting in God’s promises gives us the hope we need to stay focused on Him and His faithfulness, instead of on our circumstances. One way we can be certain that we’ve really placed our trust in God is when we experience an indescribable peace. I know that peace and it’s my absolute requirement for where I go, who I hang out with, and what decisions I am trying to make.

This is one of my mainstay scriptures. I urge you to join me in “My Peace Zone”. It is such a blessed and sweet place to be. Demand it. Refuse other options. “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!” (Isaiah 26:3)
