Coming Out of the Fog

Coming Out of the Fog

Ever felt like you were living in a fog?
Not the cozy, misty kind you see in scenic calendars — but the thick, can’t-see-the-road, “Lord, help me!” kind. The kind that makes us squint into the unknown, wondering where we’re headed and what might be hiding in the murk.

I’ve been there — literally and spiritually.

We once drove through a fog so dense, we could barely see the pavement. At one point, we had to pull over just to make sure we weren’t drifting into oncoming traffic. (Let me tell you, Jesus took the wheel… and I gripped the door handle.)

But isn’t that how life feels sometimes? We find ourselves in unfamiliar territory — emotionally, physically, even spiritually — and we just want clarity. We want to know why it’s happening, when it will end, and how to make it to the other side.

Here’s the hope: fog doesn’t last forever.
In fact, I believe the fog we’re facing? It’s about to lift.

That healing we’ve been praying for?
That financial breakthrough we’ve been waiting on?
That fractured relationship we’ve been aching to restore?

Clarity is coming. The bright rays of the morning sun will break through, and what once felt confusing will start to make sense. What felt dark will be flooded with light.

Ephesians 5:13-14 reminds us:
“But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: ‘Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’”

Friend, if you’re in the fog today, don’t panic. Don’t pull over for good. Just slow down, trust your Guide, and keep moving forward.
The Son is rising.
The fog is lifting.
You’re not lost — you’re just being led. The Son is rising, and clarity is coming. Don’t stop now… you’re about to step into the light!
