Crown Up! Living our Best Life as Royalty

Are we living up to OUR royal potential? Look at Princess Kate — graceful, beloved, and practically glowing in every photo. I’m not sure how or why, but reels and photos of her keep showing up on my phone. Coincidence? I think not.

Honestly? I don’t mind one bit. She’s poised, polished, and wearing outfits that could stop traffic. And that teeny-tiny, picture-perfect figure? Doesn’t bother me at all. (Okay, maybe just a smidge.) But here’s the thing — you and I are royalty too.

Not because we married into it, but because we were BORN AGAIN into it. We are children of the King of Kings — and that comes with eternal access to grace, love, purpose, and yes — heavenly favor.

Maybe it’s time to own up to our royal potential. After all, we are children of God – so we are royalty! That’s right. We’re not just surviving – we’re seated at the King’s table. We’re not just scraping by – we’re wearing spiritual crowns.

1 Peter 2:9 reminds us:
“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…”

That means we don’t have to chase after status, approval, or likes. We’re already approved, accepted, and crowned — by the King Himself.

Now before we go ordering a royal robe on Amazon, let’s remember – living our best life doesn’t mean luxury cars and VIP passes. It means waking up each day with purpose, walking in peace, and loving people like Jesus does — without conditions.

Our royal status is about how we treat people who can’t do a thing for us. It’s how we speak when no one’s watching. It’s how we love our neighbor when they park too close… again.

Living our best life means knowing whose we are — and walking like it. Shoulders back, head high, crown on straight.

So today, let’s embrace the royal treatment – we’re not just anyone. We are royalty. Chosen. Loved. Set apart. It’s time to crown up and live like it.
