From Family Reunion to Kingdom Calling

From Family Reunion to Kingdom Calling

June 23, 2025 Off By Donna Wuerch Noble

The Noble Reunion of 2025 is in the books! The hugs were tight, the “I love you’s” were plentiful, and the memories? We’re already getting excited about next year’s reunion in Carlsbad, California!

Sure, it was a bit of a workout (my feet will testify!), but it was a holy kind of exhaustion — the kind that comes from pouring out love, swapping stories, passing down legacy, and being reminded that family matters.

But now, we’re back to “life as usual” — except, when you belong to the King of Kings, nothing is really usual. Ordinary days become sacred when we show up with kindness, encouragement, and love in a world that desperately needs all three.

And oh, how this world needs peace.

Like the news that broke on Saturday — a U.S. military strike in Iran. Tensions are rising. Fears are mounting. Once again, we find ourselves aching for stability in a world that feels like it’s teetering on the edge. Wars and rumors of wars are no longer distant headlines — they’re daily reality. And it leaves us asking, “Lord, how long?”

But here’s what we know: peace doesn’t begin with politics. It begins in the heart. It begins in our homes. The same love and unity that wrapped our family together this weekend is the kind of love that needs to ripple into the world around us.

Romans 12:18 reminds us: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

Micah 6:8 grounds us again: “Act justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly.”

And Hebrews 6:19 gives us our anchor: “We have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul.”

We may not solve global conflict, but we can pray. We can live as peacemakers. We can raise our families to value what truly matters — faith, unity, and love that crosses every divide.

The reunion may be over, but our mission is not. Let’s be the light. Let’s bring the peace. And let’s keep loving — until we meet again, here or in glory.

Our mission is clear! As the world wrestles with war and uncertainty, Let’s choose peace — starting in our hearts and homes.
