He Nailed It — So We Could Live It

He Nailed It — So We Could Live It

(Silent Saturday Edition)
Yesterday, He nailed it.

Not like a gymnast sticking a landing or a student acing the exam. No, Jesus really nailed it.

On that cross, He absorbed every drop of judgment we deserved — bloodied, bruised, beaten. He didn’t just die for us. He died instead of us. The weight of sin drove the nails — but love held Him there.
And now… it’s Saturdamy.

Silent. Still. The stone is rolled into place.
Hope feels buried.
But don’t mistake the silence for absence.
Because even in the silence, God is working. Behind that rock-solid stone, victory is breathing.

Hell thought it had won.
Death thought it had claimed its final victim.
But heaven knew… this was just the middle of the story.

Oh, friend, maybe your Saturday feels long — full of waiting, weeping, wondering.
But hold on.
Because Sunday is coming.
Joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
Resurrection is on its way.

The same Jesus who nailed our sins to the cross is about to walk out of that tomb — and take us with Him.

So on this quiet day, don’t lose heart. Reflect. Remember. Rest.
Let your soul catch its breath.

The grave couldn’t keep Him, and it won’t keep you either.

Jesus had said: “I’ll be back!” Praise God, WE KNOW what happens tomorrow – so it’s not a gloomy day at all! We know that Jesus was tougher than the nails that hung Him from the cross. We know JOY COMES in the MORNING!

He nailed it…
So you could LIVE it.
“Having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness… He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”
—Colossians 2:14
