If God Said It – We Can Count on It
I do my best to write a blog or two each day. But, my words don’t hold a candle to God’s. His words have divine power. They don’t just inform; they transform. When He speaks, things happen.
Creation itself was birthed from the sound of His voice. Our God is faithful. If He promised it, He will do it. No ifs, ands, or buts. Sometimes, though, His timeline doesn’t match ours. We expect instant results, but He works in the realm of eternity. Yet His word assures us:
“So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” — Isaiah 55:11
Pure and simple — if God said it, we can count on it.
I felt compelled to write this because so many struggle to trust anyone’s word, let alone God’s. We live in a generation where promises are broken. So many have never known the steady, unwavering love of a faithful father. Their hearts are weary, their trust shattered. And my heart aches for them.
But here’s the truth: God is not like people. He is not fickle, forgetful, or unfaithful. He does not say one thing and do another. He is our Promise-Keeper.
My prayer is that those who have known only disappointment will come to know the One who never fails. And for those of us who already know Him, may we live with unwavering confidence that His promises are as sure as the rising sun.
Delays aren’t denials; they are divine preparations. If the promise seems slow in coming, hold on. It will come to pass. Just ask Abraham:
“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.” Romans 4:20-21
So the next time you hear God’s words, expect something to happen. His word is alive, active, and unstoppable. Let Him accomplish something great in you. Because if He said it, you can count on it.
