Is it Possible?

NEVER should we EVER say, “It can’t be done” or “I can’t do that” or ANYTHING when God says “Is there anything too hard for me?” Genesis 18:14

We have friends in a very challenging place right now. Maybe you are there too! Just a quick refresher: Christmas was almost a month ago. Remember Mary! There she was, minding her own business. Engaged to be married. Maybe thinking about her wedding dress when, out of nowhere, the angel Gabriel appears and tells her that she will soon get pregnant. She is a virgin! Pregnant!? What?!

Did fear envelope her? Did she worry about what people would think? Would they think that she and Joseph had premarital sex? Would they believe her when she says they did not? Would her family kick her out? Did she allow all those emotions to take over, but she didn’t.

No – instead she asked: ‘How is this possible? And Gabriel replied, “Nothing is impossible with God!” Let me write that again… ”Nothing is impossible with God!” Nothing. Zip. Nada. None.

How about those fears that YOU have? All those emotions swirling in your heart and mind? How about really – REALLY – giving them ALL to God? How about leaning in and trusting YOUR Heavenly Father? I was wondering if you could remind yourself that God has your back. And, if God is with you, who can be against you?

I’m not thinking “Presto change-o! All is well” But I am thinking and believing that God is very apparent in your life with peace and a deep trust that overtakes you because you know “NOTHING is impossible with God!” Nothing!

How easy it is to forget that we have a Holy Partner in our personal, family, and professional lives. We don’t have to go it alone in our ups and downs, sickness and in health, weakness or strength, loss or gain. We have the Creator of the Universe as our partner.

I pray that you will trust and know that God has your back. This is how you do it! You:
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.’ Proverbs 3 :5-6

Let’s pray for that! “Dear Lord. we want to trust You with all our hearts. We really do. You know all about the things that are overwhelming us right now. We need Your help, Lord. We know You are ALL knowing. ALL seeing. You are the creator of us and everything around us. Lord, we acknowledge that You care for us and our families and our loved ones. We ask that You help us get over our fears. We ask that You help us lean in and trust you with all our hearts. Thank You for making our paths go straight to YOU Who with NOTHING is impossible! We trust You, Lord! In Your name we pray.” AMEN!

Yes, this is how we do it! We partner with our Father Who happens to be the King of the universe and in His timing and His way…..He’ll prove that NOTHING is impossible with Him! God’s peace be with you, my friends and loved ones today!
