Last Day of an Amazing Adventure

Day 120 of Photo Inspirations — Last Day of an Amazing Adventure
We’ve made the most of our final day in Copenhagen.   Met this famous, young man last night — Tage, a basketball player on the Denmark National team. Yes, I am no longer shy. LOL!

We headed out for the train this morning to go back to town central and there we enjoyed walking the boardwalk — lots of sidewalk cafes, boats on the water and lots of activity of people enjoying God’s creation on this beautiful Sunday morning.

Nancy and I even took to the sidewalk trampolines.

We took a double decker bus to get a closer look at the city and realized all the bicycles here are because the city is pushing to be entirely carbon neutral by 2025.  If someone wants a car here, they must pay 180% tax on it.  Whew!   Incredible to be in a country so environmentally conscious.

We stopped by to see Hans Christian Andersen’s house.   On the bus tour, we saw his famous Mermaid in the ocean from his story, The Little Mermaid.

Since we loved our Chinese food so much yesterday,  we had to go back today for more.

Now,  my last request is a European chocolate ice cream cone.  So yummy.

Now we’re all excited about heading home tomorrow.  It’s been such a blast,  but now we’re ready for home sweet home.
