Let It Go… and Let God Lead On
Some of us are still wrestling with the past like it’s an arm-wrestling match we can’t seem to win. We revisit conversations, reheat regrets, and replay scenes we swore we’d deleted. But what if we stopped looking back and started leaning forward?
Let the past be the past. It had its moment. It served its purpose. And thankfully, God doesn’t consult our history before drafting our destiny.
The road ahead? Oh friend, it’s not just better — it’s bigger than we can fathom. Why? Because we’re not walking it alone. Our great God is walking beside us, whispering wisdom and lavishing us with love — even when we trip over our own shoelaces of doubt.
I adore how The Message Bible puts it in Ephesians 3:20:
“God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!”
Wildest dreams? Oh yes. That means the ones we’ve dared to tuck away because they felt too big, too bold, or too far gone. But not for God.
He’s not only working on our behalf—He’s working within us. Shaping, softening, strengthening. His purpose is not buried in yesterday’s rubble; it’s being revealed with each faithful step forward.
So let’s stop dragging the old baggage into the new season. God’s not asking us to fix the past. He’s asking us to follow Him into a future filled with promise, hope, and more grace than we can carry.
Maybe you need a little nudge today! Here it is:
God hasn’t run out of miracles. He hasn’t tired of your prayers. And He certainly hasn’t forgotten to pour out His goodness on you!
So let’s breathe deep. Walk forward and keep our eyes on the One who makes impossible so possible!
After all, He’s not just rewriting our story. He’s redeeming it.
