Nothing can Separate Us from God’s Love
Doesn’t that give us reassurance at the end of a day when we feel less than loved by anyone, including ourselves?
God’s love for us is unwavering and eternal. Imagine that! No matter what happens, nothing can destroy our relationship with Him. This truth has the power to transform our lives.
Romans 8:38-39 assures us, “For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away.
Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are — high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean — nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.”
When we place our hand in God’s hand, He holds onto it and never lets go. Even in moments when we feel like letting go, God remains steadfast.
Once we are part of God’s family, that bond cannot be undone. Just as we can’t be unborn from our earthly family, we cannot be unborn from the family of God. Our name,
once written in the eternal Book of Life, is there forever in indelible ink.
No matter the doubts or fears we face, no matter the mistakes we make, if we trust in Christ, nothing can separate us from His love. We will never face life’s challenges alone.
Here’s the incredible news: We are forgiven and free. God is for us, and His love for us is unending.
Understanding this good news is vital for everyone. It’s why so many dedicate their lives to spreading this message of hope. It’s why churches and ministries around the world work tirelessly in various ministries, sharing the love of Christ.
Jesus offers a life of freedom, forgiveness, power, peace, and purpose that lasts for eternity. What’s our response to such wonderful blessings? Ephesians 4:1 encourages us: “Live and act in a way worthy of those who have been chosen for such wonderful blessings as these.”
So, let’s live with spring in our steps, with joy unspeakable and full of glory, with hope that keeps us believing, and sharing it all with others. May our lives be a testament to the everlasting love of God.
