Refuse to Get Stuck

Refuse to Get Stuck

Following are words from a ministry that I receive online encouragement from daily:

“Refuse to get stuck in trying to guess what the future will bring, and what you might have to do. Conjecture is not truth. Take every day as it comes and do the best you can with current circumstances. “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34

Those words packed a punch, and I add to it. We stand on the threshold of another election season. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty of what lies ahead. The sides are filled with stark contrasts, and the future may seem like a vast, uncharted territory.

But here’s the truth: we don’t have to predict the future or get caught up in what might happen. Conjecture isn’t truth. Instead, we’re called to live in the present, making the most of each day and trusting God to guide our steps.

We are freed from the burden of trying to figure out the future. Our job is to live today with purpose, with hope, and with the assurance that God is in control.

It’s okay not to have all the answers. It’s okay to feel uncertain about what’s to come. But instead of letting that uncertainty paralyze us, may it propel us into action. We are reminded to seek God’s wisdom in every decision, and to trust that God holds the future in His hands.

On that note, I plead with those who have not registered to vote, to do so now. May we keep “America the Beautiful”…..beautiful when it comes to the sanctity of life, religious freedom, free speech, our borders secured, parental rights, the unborn protected, women’s and men’s sports to be exactly that – women with women and men with men, only citizens of the U.S. can vote, and putting God and what His Word declares as truth.

May God bless America with His will being done on earth as it is in heaven! As we navigate the days ahead, let’s embrace each day as a gift and do the best we can with the circumstances we’re given. The future may be unknown, but with God by our side, we can face it with courage and confidence.

Let’s keep our eyes on Him, trusting that He will provide exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. The future might be unpredictable, but our God is unchanging!

“Your will be done, Lord, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
