Happy Mother’s Day to all moms — and to every woman with a heart that nurtures, comforts, teaches, and tends to others with that unmistakable maternal instinct.

Let’s be honest: not every woman has children of her own. But oh, how many have mothered the world around them in powerful, quiet, faithful ways.

You’ve offered a listening ear, a hot casserole, a comforting hug, or a strong word at just the right moment. You’ve cheered others on, whispered prayers over weary souls, and stood in the gap for someone needing guidance or grace. That, my friend, is mothering.

We mother when we rock babies that aren’t ours, speak truth into a teenager’s aching heart, encourage the frazzled young mom at church, or hold space for a friend who just needs to fall apart in our presence.

We mother because we can’t help ourselves. It’s how God wired us. Whether we’re single, married, widowed, with children or without we carry this sacred calling in our hearts.

We mother when we bring food to a hurting neighbor.
We mother when we show up and stay.
We mother when we choose kindness, when we pour wisdom into someone who needs direction, when we let others lean on our strength for just a little while.

So today, I’m celebrating the ones who raised me, the ones I raised, and the ones who simply raise up others with love. I celebrate my daughters — mothers of my beautiful grands — and every woman who lives out Proverbs 31:26:
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

You may not get a card, flowers, or breakfast in bed — but you deserve honor. You’re a builder of people, a quiet hero, a giver of life in all its forms.

Today, we rise and call you blessed. And, on a side note — I am so grateful for my grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, daughters and all “my girls” who allow me to pour into their lives.

Happy Mother’s Day, beautiful souls. Keep mothering the world — one love-soaked, grace-filled moment at a time.
