Still Learning!
I absolutely love being a student of life! It’s exhilarating to wake up every day knowing that God has a brand-new lesson plan waiting for me. No tuition fees. No final exams. Just hands-on, heart-deep learning from the Master Teacher Himself!
Every day brings a pop quiz in patience, a surprise lecture on gratitude, or a lab experiment in trusting God when the plan goes sideways.
And even though I’ve been around the block a few times (maybe a few more than I’d like to count!), I’m still discovering that life is a classroom bursting with new lessons.
I’m amazed at how fast the world changes — new technology that I can barely keep up with, medical breakthroughs that sound like science fiction, and now even apps that teach us new shortcuts in reading, writing and arithmetic!
I certainly don’t understand every gadget, but I do know the God who gives wisdom to all who ask.
James 1:5 reminds us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God… and it will be given to him.”
So, I keep asking. And He keeps teaching.
I love that God doesn’t retire His students. He doesn’t say, “You’ve learned enough.” Nope — He’s still shaping, refining, stretching, and inspiring us, no matter our age. Some days I ace the test; other days, I need a divine tutor and a whole lot of grace!
But here’s the best part: God’s lessons always lead to growth. He never wastes a single moment of what we experience. Whether we’re learning through laughter or through tears, it’s all part of His curriculum.
So today, I’m raising my hand with joy and saying, “Here I am, Lord — teach me something new!”
Because the day we stop learning is the day we stop growing, and I don’t know about you, but I want to graduate from this life with honors in Faith 101.
God’s classroom is open daily — no age limit, no tuition, just grace. Let’s keep learning, keep growing, AND, for sure – let’s keep laughing!
