The Sphere of Influence
When our friend heard that we would be going to Nevada to spend time with our cousins and celebrate our BIG 1-year anniversary, he encouraged us to go to Las Vegas’ newest marvel, The Sphere.
This architectural wonder, with its state-of-the-art technology and stunning visuals, has quickly become a must-see destination. It captivates audiences, drawing them into an immersive experience that lingers long after the show is over. It felt like we were in what we saw!
But beyond The Sphere’s awe and wonder, I knew a blog was coming about OUR Sphere of Influence (our power of influence) that can leave a lasting impact on the world around us.
Each of us, in our own unique way, touch the lives of those around us. Our actions, words, and even our silence radiate outward, affecting others in ways we might not even realize. Our influence as followers of Christ has never been more crucial.
Our country is in desperate need of godly leadership — people who not only profess faith but live it out with integrity. Integrity is not just measured by what we do in the public eye; it’s revealed in those quiet moments when no one is watching.
Proverbs 11:3 reminds us, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” This verse challenges us to be consistent in our character, both in the spotlight and behind closed doors.
As Christians, we are called to live lives that honor God, reflecting His love and truth in every situation. It’s easy to behave righteously when we know others are watching, but true integrity is demonstrated in those unseen moments.
Galatians 5:22-23 speaks of the fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. That fruit should define our interactions and shape our sphere of influence in a way that draws others closer to Christ.
In these times, when our nation is yearning for leaders of integrity and character, let us be those who lead by example. Let our sphere of influence be marked by the light of Christ, shining brightly in a world that so desperately needs it.
By living lives of integrity and godliness, we can have a profound impact, one that ripples out and touches lives in ways we may never fully see, but that God sees and honors.
