4,000 and Still Counting

This day, January 13th, 2025, is the BIG ONE as in posting my 4,004th blog. (I was caught off-guard with surpassing 4,000 until today.) Pardon the personal high-fives!
Iβm beyond grateful for Godβs faithfulness to inspire, motivate, encourage, drop nuggets of His fresh Word, open my eyes to see the beauty in each day and to savor the moments when I would get an βahaβ lightning bolt revelation to share with you.
Most of all, I am thankful for those who commented or βsecretlyβ sent me private messages about how one of my posts was βright-onβ for what you needed for that day. Thank you to those who privately asked me for prayer, counsel and advice. All the praise goes to God, my Heavenly Editor-in-Chief!
On April 26, 2010, I wrote my first-ever blog. It came out of many twists and turns, prayers answered β sometimes with Godβs βYes. No. Not yet, but I promise to never leave you or forsake you. I promise you peace that passes understanding.β Thus, the title to my daily blog is βMy Peace Zoneβ aka MyPeaceZone.com

Blogging for me was born out of adversity. No. I donβt like to call it that. It was born out of Godβs plans for my future. It started with my late husbandβs diagnosis of Stage 4 Kidney Cancer.
Immediately we knew that God wanted us to live our faith journey out loud. We had been the encouragers and bright lights to others during their times of crisis. We didnβt stop when we faced a crisis.
Our faith journey didnβt go as planned. Many thought our prayers werenβt answered. Oh, contraire! They were answered throughout the next eleven months with the love of family and friends, having a first class medical team, and sweet times of completely trusting in Godβs will being done on earth as it was in heaven. And, they were answered as this widow maintained wholehearted trust in Godβs faithfulness.
In January 2011, I asked God about my new mission. It was abundantly clear in my new season of widowhood β to keep letting His light shine in my everyday musings.
I was randomly blogging until 2014 when I knew I was to make blogging a life mission DAILY, posting before 6 am each day. Not just aimless blogging but mind-of-Christ blogging.
I call myself a social media missionary β determined to be a light in the darkness with a fresh word of hope to help others know that nothing is impossible with God.
Often, my blogs are all about ME because I need those reasons to start my own day. I know I need to get out of bed on the RIGHT side of being a determined, strong, fearless, and powerful woman who believes we were ALL created to make a difference in this world.
Our world needs βbehind the scenes prayer warriorsβ, social media missionaries, powerful living-out-loud faith-filled, armor-bearing believers who light up the corners of their world with Godβs presence and light.
Maybe you are being nudged by God today β to do SOMETHING! If God nudges, we best get after it! The teaching of kindness will open doors to bring healing and wholeness to our world β being peacemakers, joy-givers, hope-bringers, lovers, and compassionate healers!
See you tomorrow, for blog 4,005! Thanks for being my greatest inspirations!
